Our class has been working very hard over the past two months! The time is just zipping by and I can't believe there are only 31 days left in this school year. I wanted to take a moment to highlight some of the wonderful things we have been and are still currently working on in our class.
Unit 5 for Reading is based all around Responsibility in many different places and how to show it in many different ways. So we decided to create a Unit 5 project which includes a poster with pictures and writing that tell about what each student believes responsibility means to them personally and how do they show their responsibility in different settings. When we are all finished with these projects we will be presenting them to one another and hanging them in the school to show our PRIDE. I will also post pictures of finished projects on here so keep a look out for that!
Another really exciting thing going on in our classroom is our Writing. We are working on non-fiction lab reports and have had a great time with our first experiment about cars and ramps and are now moving on to being able to choose an experiment to complete and write a lab report about. It is all very exciting and we can't wait to see what our results will be!
In Math we have been working with measurements, 2D shapes, 3D shapes and now have also moved into learning how to partition shapes into equal parts. We also have our "Shapes Museum" on display in our classroom to help us remember all of the different attributes the shapes we are studying have.
It's been a busy and fun couple of months and I hope that you all had a restful and enjoyable April break. Stay tuned for fun photos of our Reading Projects.
Yours Truly,
Ms. Worster (Ms. W.)
